This project was very personal to me because when it brought me back to when I was a teenager watching this show in the living room with my sister. I never though back then I would get the chance to work on this show at some point in my career. And what a fun and challenging project! The client wanted to reveal the cast members for the new season and then finally Tyra as the new host. I modelled a 3D ballroom in Cinema 4D that mimicked the show's real life studio set. We then used the position data in after effects to place the contestants into the floor panels and then pan up to reveal the keyed out footage of Tyra placed into the ballroom.
